- From I-264 traveling East take exit 18B, Breckenridge Lane North, turn RIGHT at the 4th traffic light (Dutchmans Lane, Kresge Way, Winchester Road, Grandview Avenue) onto Grandview Avenue, and the Library is in the St. Matthews City Hall Building about 1.5 blocks on your RIGHT. Parking and the entrance is in the rear of the building.
- From I-64 traveling East take exit 8, Grinstead Drive, turn RIGHT at the bottom of the ramp and LEFT onto Lexington Road at the first traffic light, turn RIGHT at the 6th traffic light (Alta Vista, Stiltz Avenue, Cannons Lane, Bauer Avenue, Frankfort Avenue-Lexington Road, Breckenridge Lane) onto Breckenridge Lane, turn LEFT at the 2nd traffic light (Willis Avenue, Grandview Avenue) onto Grandview Avenue, and the Library is in the St. Matthews City Hall Building about 1.5 blocks on your RIGHT. Parking and the entrance is in the rear of the building.
- From I-64 traveling East take exit 10, Cannons Lane, turn LEFT onto Cannons Lane North at the end of the ramp, turn RIGHT onto Winchester Road, and LEFT at the 1st traffic light onto Breckenridge Lane, turn RIGHT at the 1st traffic light onto Grandview Avenue, and the Library is in the St. Matthews City Hall Building about 1.5 blocks on your RIGHT. Parking and the entrance is in the rear of the building.
- From I-71 traveling North (appears to be East) take exit 2, Zorn Avenue, turn RIGHT onto Zorn Avenue at the bottom of the ramp. Zorn Avenue becomes Hillcrest Avenue as you jog across Brownsboro Road. Turn LEFT at the 3rd traffic light (Veterans Hospital, Brownsboro Road, Frankfort Avenue) onto Frankfort Avenue just after crossing the railroad tracks, bear RIGHT at the 2nd traffic light (Cannons Lane, Shelbyville Road) onto Shelbyville Road, turn RIGHT at the 1st traffic light onto Breckenridge Lane, turn LEFT at the 2nd traffic light (Willis Avenue, Grandview Avenue) onto Grandview Avenue, and the Library is in the St. Matthews City Hall Building about 1.5 blocks on your RIGHT. Parking and the entrance is in the rear of the building.
- From Shelbyville Road traveling West turn LEFT at the traffic light at Browns Lane, go one short block and turn RIGHT onto Grandview Avenue, and the Library is in the St. Matthews City Hall Building about 2 blocks on your LEFT. Parking and the entrance is in the rear of the building.
